My beds had bed bugs found in the wood my kids was getting bit every night did not know it was from that until i slept in the bed woke up swollen...

Bought beds in had bed bugs in the wood i will never buy anything else from Harlem furniture

i ordered over 6300 dollars worth of furniture, paid cash one bed set they could not deliver they keep changing date from june now telling me not un till sept. the people i dealt with sally supposedly manager said either get another set or wait till sept, karian walker said she will send someone to pick up the set, they make up stuff as they go along will not let you speak to any body in... Don’t buy from Harlem Furniture / The Roomplace! They do not back up their policies. I have bought several pieces of furniture from them. Some have been delivered defective: a broken lamp; a table where a top came apart; and now a mattress. Each time was a hassle. when i had my furniture del on dec 5 th the delivery people broke my gate and never told me i even tipped them which made me even madder that they didnt tell me & then i contacted custmer service and they said they would take care of it well guess what it is dec 30 th and i am still waiting for them to repair they keep sending out phil who apperently is not a fence guy because hes been here... TOTALLY RIDICULOUS. I ordered a $1,000 bed. Delivery set for today wed, 5pm. I received a call at 5pm stating 9 pm. I took a day off of work but NO bed. It s now 11 pm! I paid for delivery! I m out a days work, and very upset. Harlem furniture customer service closes at 8 pm... Read more

I called Harlem Furniture for a Labor day promotions and the person tells me a promotion rate. I go there to the store, they say thats only on certain items. Purchased expresso colored leather couch in July of 2011, supposedly one of the best at The Room Place. Soon after purchase, the leather couch started to show signs of discoloration. I purchased a sofa from this place and the day before the delivery they gave me a 2 hour window for delivery (12-2) .
