I bought a dinette set from them in May 08, the Bellini Set to be exact.After a couple of months, I noticed that the wood veneer had started separating from the table and server.

I called harlem, they had a technician to come out and inspect, they said they couldn't repair it, so I ended up getting a replacement. Well the same problem happened now 6 times and now they are allowing me to come in the store to pick out a new set. I was back and forth with customer service and they would only allow me to get another table and server and would not take back the chairs...there was nothing in the store that matched the chairs, so I had them to reorder the table and server...and needless to say, everytime they delivered the furniture was defected with the same problem.

The ONLY reason I'm picking out a new set is because they will not credit me my money back, If I had a choice I would not buy ANYTHING from the Roomplace.Their furniture is ***!!!

Monetary Loss: $750.

It's called, you get what you pay for. Their furniture is cheap for a reason.
